Controllability and Optimization Problems

Project description

The aim of this project is related to the study of qualitative properties of the solutions of evolutionary partial differential equations and to study some optimization problems closely connected to convex analysis. We study the controllability, stabilizability, optimality, asymptotic behavior, existence of solutions, their approximations and convergence of numerical schemes. We intend to use majorization tools and convex-concave arguments in order to study some optimization problems related to equilibrium problems, min-max theory and fixed point theory in a very general settings.

Scientific contribution expected for this project is of minimum 8 published or accepted articles in international ISI journals and 3 articles in peer-reviewed journals (BDI).

The project has three areas of research:
